aDult lOCker rOOMs
Families with young children and in particular opposite gender children can enjoy
the privacy of individual changing rooms in the Family Locker Room. Children
aged 5 and over are not permitted in the opposite gender adult locker rooms (as
outlined in R 6.10.1 of our Club Rules & Regulations). We want to provide a
comfortable environment for all of our members including those with and without
children. Please remind your children that the Adult Lounges in the locker rooms
are for members age 18+. There are numerous seating areas for your children to
wait or relax elsewhere in the club. Your cooperation is appreciated.
NOt usING yOur lOCker? theN yOu CaN Get a reFuND!
To resign a locker, just visit any of the staff at the sports office and they will
happily and quickly fill out the appropriate paper work. Locker costs are pro-rated
to ensure members are only charged for actual use of the locker. Once resigned, a
refund of the pro-rated amount will appear on your next statement. Each
family is allowed one locker in the men’s locker room and one locker in the
women’s locker room OR one locker in the family change room. If you are on a
wait list for a locker, you can check with the sports desk any time of the day to
check your status on the waitlist. Only full, active members are eligible for a locker.
Changing your membership status to a social or non resident membership will result
in an immediate locker resignation. If items cannot be emptied from the locker, we
can keep them at the front desk for pick up.
ChaNGes tO yOur MeMbershIP
Did you know that you can make changes to your membership throughout the year?
The Calgary Winter Club’s fiscal year is July 1- June 30 and many Shareholders
wait until the annual renewal time to make additions or deletions of family
members on their memberships. But changes can be made throughout the year;
especially if a family member moves away or is unable to use the Club. If you have
any questions about your membership, please call the membership department at
(403) 338-2416 or (403) 338-2418. A ‘Member Change Form’ can also be found on
the Club’s website under the membership tab.
