There will be no gym or music classes on Thursday,
February 12 th and Friday, February 13 th due to Teachers
Convention.

Relax and take a break while your
children enjoy 2 ½ hours of fun. You
must pre book as only a limited number
of spots are available. If your child is an
infant you must ensure they are also
booked in the infant childcare.

“beGINNING stePs” aND “GaMes,
GIGGles aND GIaNt stePs” - Fall 2009
This is a 2 year program
with the first year being
Beginning Steps and the
second year being Games,
Giggles and Giant Steps.
These are both 9 month
programs with no
cancellations. When you register for Beginning Steps, you
will be guaranteed a spot in one of the Giggles classes the
following year (with the option of opting out at the end of
Beginning Steps) and will be able to choose the class time
next February based on the order you registered for
Beginning Steps. There is also the option of only doing
Games, Giggles and Giant Steps.
Active members may register for Beginning Steps or Games,
Giggles and Giant Steps beginning on March 2 nd at 6 am.

or talk to Heather Mackie, Preschool Director.
Beginning Steps
This is a 2 day a week program which focuses on social
skills such as sharing, taking turns and being a friend,
through games, crafts, activities and stories. Each week also
includes a 30 minute music class. This program is for
children who will be attending Kindergarten in 2011 and
therefore will be 3 before February 28, 2010. Maximum 10
children. There will be a teacher and an assistant for this
class. Cost: $96/month. Location: lower board room.
Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30 - 11:30 am (Lisa)
Tuesdays and Thursdays 1 - 3 pm (Lisa)
Games, Giggles and Giant Steps
This is the second year of the 2 year program. There are,
however, spaces available for this September 2009 if you
wish to register in this class and did not take Beginning
Steps. This is a 3 day a week program which includes games,
crafts, songs, art activities and stories. Each week there is a
45 minute gym class and a 45 minute music class. This is for
children who will be attending Kindergarten in the fall of
2010. Maximum of 10 children per class. Cost: $129/month.
