Prosecution<br />

After these parts of the 2nd chapter of the trial questionnaire, there were questions<br />

<strong>and</strong> tables regarding compulsory measures included (these are printed in<br />

chapter L of this book). Finally, a table on prosecutorial staff was featured in the<br />

trial version.<br />

The evaluation in the nine countries concerned shows that the counting unit in<br />

prosecution statistics differs: Some countries count cases, some proceedings, <strong>and</strong><br />

one counts persons, too. Differences occur as to the counting of unknown offenders<br />

as well. The proposed disposal categories work for most of the countries,<br />

but a breakdown by offence groups is provided for in only a few of them.<br />

The following tables (K.1 – K.5) show the results of the evaluation in detail:
