IMPORTANT POINTS TO BE NOTED:
a) The bid document has been loaded on the UIPL & BPCL web sites.
b) Bid document fees of INR 1000/- OR USD 25/- to be submitted along with the offer
c) Bidders shall furnish documents supporting bidders qualification criteria
d) Due date for submission of bids: 12:00 Hrs of 21/10/10
e) Unpriced techno commercial bid opening: At 14:30 Hrs of bid due date
f) Pre-bid meeting: 13:30 Hrs of 07/10/10 at UIPL Pune office. Minutes of meetings pre-bid
meeting shall be uploaded on UIPL & BPCL web sites.
g) Required delivery and completion period: Refer Special Conditions of Contract (SCC)
h) Bid Validity: Bids shall remain valid for FOUR months after the deadline for bid submission.
i) Offer evaluation and ordering basis: Overall lowest basis.
j) Bid security / Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): INR 15,00,000/- OR USD 32,609/-. For Bidders
registered with BPCL/UIPL under Fire Fighting Systems works category, EMD shall be
waived. Bidders registered with BPCL/UIPL shall submit copy of letter of registration issued
by BPCL/UIPL authorities in un-priced technical bids.
k) Bidders to note the Bid Rejection Criteria.
l) Bidders to submit STATEMENT OF DEVIATIONS/ ACCEPTANCE TO TENDER
DOCUMENTS as per the format indicated in ITB
m) Bidders to submit TECHNICAL DEVIATION SHEET as per the format indicated in ITB
n) Bidders to submit COMMERCIAL DEVIATION SHEET as per the format indicated in ITB
o) Offers to be submitted in UIPL Pune office
