Logo Color
The logo should always appear in Cincinnati Children’s
Blue or one of the acceptable substitutes listed in Figure 1.
Cincinnati Children’s Blue is a custom ink available through
Superior Ink (513-221-4618, www.superiorink.com). There
are ink formulas for coated and uncoated paper stocks. When
ordering ink, specify coated or uncoated ink formula based on
the paper the job will be printed on.
See Figure 2 for ink/color specifications for various
print applications.
One- and Two-Color Applications
When creating a one-color application, use Cincinnati
Children’s Blue on white. The logo in 100% black on a white
background is acceptable in cases when Cincinnati Children’s
Blue is not an option (e.g., fax transmission sheet, forms,
newspaper, etc).
If a piece is being printed in two colors, one of the two colors
must be black or Cincinnati Children’s Blue. (See Figure 3.)
