<strong>Using</strong> scatter files<br />

<strong>ARM</strong> library helper functions are generated by <strong>the</strong> compiler in <strong>the</strong> resulting object files.<br />

Therefore, you cannot use armlib and cpplib in a scatter file to place <strong>the</strong>se functions.<br />

To place <strong>the</strong> helper functions specify *.* (i.__<strong>ARM</strong>_*) in your scatter file. The *.* part is<br />

important if you have * (+RO) in your scatter file.<br />

Be aware that if you use * (i.__<strong>ARM</strong>_*) <strong>the</strong> following error is generated:<br />

Error: L6223E: Ambiguous selectors...<br />

This is because of <strong>the</strong> scatter-loading rules for resolving multiple matches.<br />
