er mit N. Kidman zusammen – zum ersten Mal im Fantasy-Film
aus dem Jahre 2007 Der Goldene Kompass und zum zweiten Mal
im Sci-Fi-Film Invasion. Seine Stimme verlieh er dem animierten
Science-Fiction Actionfilm Renaissance. Weitere James Bond Rolle
spielte Craig im Jahre 2008 im Film Quantum of Solace. Während
der Dreharbeiten des Thrillers Dream house im Jahre 2011 lernte er
seine zweite Frau kennen, die schöne britische Schauspielerin Rachel
Weisz. Der bereits dreiundzwanzigste Bondfilm sollte im Kino am
Ende des Jahres 2012 erscheinen, also genau 50 Jahre nach der
Vorstellung des ersten Films, noch mit Sean Connery. Skyfall oder
Bond 23 wird so zu einem Teil des 50. Jubiläums des Agenten 007.
Craigs Bond spazierte auch durch Karlsbad, wo man den Film
Casino Royale drehte. Viele Szenen spielen sich natürlich im
Grandhotel Pupp ab, wo der berühmte Schauspieler auch wohnte.

The sixth actor playing Agent 007, Daniel Craig, ranks as one of
prominent guests of the Grandhotel Pupp.
He was born in 1968 and spent his childhood in Liverpool. He
studied the prestigious Guildhale School of Music and Drama. In
1992 he married the Scottish actress F. Loudon who he has daughter
Ella with. As early as 1998 he got an award for the best actor in
the film Love Is the Devil at the film festival in Edinburgh. In the
very same year he flashed across the screen in a historical drama
Elizabeth. Then several negative parts followed: with Angelina Jolie
in the film Lara Croft, with T. Hanks in the part of P. Newman’s
spoilt son in the film Road to Perdition and in 2004 the main part
in the film Layer Cake came, where he played a drug dealer with
such nonchalance that he immediately became a member of the
acting elite. S. Spielberg cast him as one of assassins in the drama
Munich in 2005. In 2006 he helped to revive the genre of Bond films

in Casino Royale where he won a lot of popularity as Bond.
Double cooperation with N. Kidman waited for him in two films - the
fantasy film The Golden Compass from 2007 and the sci-fi film The
Invasion. He lent his voice to an animated action series Renaissance.
He had another part of James Bond in the film Quantum of Solace
in 2008. He met his future wife, the beautiful British actress Rachel
Weisz during the shooting of the thriller Dream House in 2011. And
the 23 rd Bond film in succession should appear in cinemas at the
end of the year 2012, i.e. exactly 50 years after the first film with
Sean Connery had been shown. So Skyfall or Bond 23 will be a part
of Agent 007´s 50 th anniversary.
Craig’s Bond also walked around Karlovy Vary where the film
Casino Royale was being shot. And, of course, lots of scenes were
set in the Grandhotel Pupp where the famous actor stayed too.
