3.1.2b Fauna • Riqueza de especies RESULTADOS Y DISCUSIONES La fauna presente en el área de estudio es diversa e incluye especies de las distintas clases de vertebrados: peces, anfibios, aves y mamíferos. La composición específica de cada clase se detalla en la tabla 26. Desde el punto de vista de la riqueza faunística, se registró un total de 41 especies, siendo las aves el grupo más numeroso y representativo de la microcuenca del estero de Quintero.
