• Evento de debug (usado para fines de diagnóstico). • Los eventos registrados en la bitácora, deberán permanecer en memoria aun cuando la unidad sea apagada. La unidad deberá poder almacenar por lo menos 1000 entradas en la bitácora. La unidad deberá contar con indicadores luminosos tipo LED, para monitoreo local a fin de supervisar el estatus de la unidad sobre el encendido, y en los puertos de servicio indicar el estado de los enlaces y actividad del puerto. El software del sistema y el de los módulos de servicio deberá poder ser migrado a nuevas versiones de manera remota y local en las instalaciones del cliente. El Software de Administración de Redes deberá presentar reportes gráficos en tiempo real sobre el tráfico, utilización y rendimiento en las unidades mediante el protocolo RMON. La unidad podrá ser administrada mediante el protocolo SNMP, y ser monitoreada y gestionada desde una consola de Administración de Redes, que provea una interfaz gráfica. La consola de administración deberá poder interpretar cada uno de los mensajes contenidos en la bitácora de eventos. SOBRE LAS FUNCIONALIDADES Y COMPATIBILIDADES La unidad deberá contener funcionalidades avanzadas a nivel de conmutación de paquetes a Niveles de las Capas 2,3 y 4 del Modelo de Referencia OSI.
