ancestors. Among them we find “Las Panchas”,
from Panchimalco; “Las Volcaneñas”, who dress
the traditional costume from the middle of the
country; “Las Refajadas”, from the region of the
“Izalco’s” in Sonsonate; “El Cuzuco” and “Los
Emplumados” from Cacaopera, which is one of
the most representative dance from the eastern
side of the country. To be more exact, from the
region of “Cacawira”, in the Department of
Morazán.
