ince its beginnings, the National Folkloric<br />
Ballet, has recreated dance expressions from its<br />
ancestors. Among them we find “Las Panchas”,<br />
from Panchimalco; “Las Volcaneñas”, who dress<br />
the traditional costume from the middle of the<br />
country; “Las Refajadas”, from the region of the<br />
“Izalco’s” in Sonsonate; “El Cuzuco” and “Los<br />
Emplumados” from Cacaopera, which is one of<br />
the most representative dance from the eastern<br />
side of the country. To be more exact, from the<br />
region of “Cacawira”, in the Department of<br />
Morazán.<br />
