L’addition oxydante du catalyseur sur le dérivé bromé et insertion du complexe palladié sur l’oléfine conduit à la formation du complexe 28a à partir duquel la !-élimination d’hydrure conduit à la formation du composé 25 et 26. Cependant, la réinsertion du catalyseur sur le produit 26 conduit à la formation du complexe 29 qui par !élimination d’hydrure conduit au régioisomère 27 (Schéma I-2). 29
