ABSTRACT
Autoimmune bullous dermatosis (AIBD) are a heterogeneous group of disease,
that are having both variable’s prognosis and sometimes pejorative. Their diversity
requires the combination of clinical exam, histology and direct immunofluorescent
(DIF).
Applying the direct immunofluorescent (DIF) to the skin biopsy, looking for
antigenic unit, has allowed to improve the diagnosis of autoimmune Bullous
dermatosis. The principle of the technic is to reveal the antigenic motif, present on a
skin biopsy, by using specific antibodies (AC) of the antigenic unit to be revealed,
transformed previously to fluorescent by coupling it to a fluorochrome. The five
antibodies used routinely detect Ig A, Ig G, Ig M and C3.
Our work has focused on a retrospective study in the laboratory of
anatomopathology at University Hospital Hassan 2 of Fez. Built from the records of
patients at the dermatology Department and receiving a DIF review over a period of
two years (2010-2011). We chose 43 cases treated on Department of Dermatology
and Venereology and for which a DIF was carried.
The final Autoimmune bullous dermatosis’s diagnostics selected were
distributed as follows: 15 cases of Bullous Pemphigoid, 13 cases of Pemphigus (08
case of pemphigus vulgaris, 02 case of pemphigus Foliaceus, 02 cases of Pemphigus
Seborrhoicus and a case of Pemphigus Herpetiformis), 03 cases of Epidermolysis
Bullosa Acquisita, 03 cases of gestational Pemphigoid, 03 cases of Bullous lupus and
a case of Cicatricial Pemphigoid.
