Au cœur de la Vallée de la Vire, au détour d’un
chemin, vous découvrirez la ferme de Boisjugan.
Cet ensemble architectural du XVII e - XIX e allie
aujourd’hui tradition et modernité. La grange abrite
désormais le musée du Bocage normand et
présente plus de 1 000 objets sur 800 m 2 d’accueil
et d’exposition. Sa muséographie contemporaine et
interactive met en scène la formation du Bocage,
l’évolution des pratiques agricoles, l’élevage du
cheval et de la vache. Des lieux typiques sont
reconstitués : l’écurie, l’étable, l’atelier et la
beurrerie. Un moment d’émotion qui se partage.
You will find the Ferme de Boisjugan at the end of a
lane in the heart of the Vire Valley. This collection of
buildings, dating from the 17th to 19th centuries,
combines tradition with modernity. The barn now
houses the Musée du Bocage Normand with an
800m 2 exhibition and reception area, displaying a
collection of more than 1000 objects. Its modern
interactive displays show the way the patchwork
landscape of fields and hedgerows (known as
Bocage) was created, the evolution of farming
methods and the rearing of horses and cattle.
Typical scenes have been recreated: a stable, a
cowshed, a workshop and a butter parlour.
A moving experience for all the family.

• Ouverture du 23/02 au 31/05 ouvert du mer au
dim : 14 h-18 h. Du 1/06 au 30/09 ouvert du mer au
ven : 10 h-12 h et 14 h-18 h. Du 1/10 au 22/12
ouvert du mer au dim : 14 h-18 h.
• Visite libre (1 h 30) avec accueil personnalisé des
groupes, bornes multimédia et scénographie
interactive. Documents de visite gratuits (F/GB/E/
NL/D). Panneaux explicatifs en F/GB/langue
normande. Visite adaptée pour les scolaires avec
accueil personnalisé. Durée de la visite : 1 h 30 mn /
Dossier groupe sur demande.
• Open from 23rd February to 31st May: Wed to Sun,
2pm to 6pm. From 1st June to 30th Sept: Wed to
Fri, 10am to 12 noon and 2pm to 6pm. From 1st Oct
to 22nd Dec: Wed to Sun, 2pm to 6pm.
• Unguided visit (1 hour 30 mins) with personalised
assistance for groups, multi-media information
points and interactive exhibits. Visitor leaflets free of
charge (Fr, Eng, Span, Dutch, Ger). Information
panels in Fr, Eng and local dialect. Customised visit
for school groups. Visit lasts 90 mins. Group info
pack on request.

Tarif groupe scolaire : jusqu’à
11 ans : gratuit ; 12-25 ans, étudiant : 2,45 €.
À partir de 20 personnes, gratuité chauffeur et
accompagnateur.
