AAFI-AFICS VISIT TO NEW YORK
From 9-15 October 2004
(technical organization: Kuoni Voyages SA, Geneva)
Participation : minimum of 12 participants – maximum of 30 (inscriptions will be made on a first-come, firstserved
basis)
Reserved for members of AAFI-AFICS and those accompanying them (two participants only per
inscription; additional registrations may be accepted depending on the number of applications received by
the deadline of 30 April)
Travel: By Continental Airways (Geneva- New York-Geneva), economy class. Departure from Geneva:
Saturday, 9 October in the morning (arrival in New York during the afternoon) – Return: departure from New
York on 15 October in the evening (arrival in Geneva on the morning of 16 October).
Accommodation: double rooms (single rooms on payment of a supplement) in a good hotel in the centre of
Manhattan.
Provisional programme: Visit to the United Nations Headquarters (tour, lunch, conference on a topical
subject); guided tour of Manhattan by boat or bus; visits to some of the landmarks of New York; Broadway
theatre evening (musical comedy); meeting with our colleagues from AFICS New York. A detailed
programme will be sent with the final registration form.
Provisional cost:
from CHF 2,800 to 3,100 per person, depending on the number of participants.
This cost includes: air flights to and from New York; transfer to and from the airport at New York; room
and American breakfast; all excursions listed in the final programme; Broadway theatre ticket; meals
(excluding drinks) mentioned in the programme (about four during the week); service and local taxes;
guidebook of New York provided by the tour organizer.
N.B. Cancellation insurance is also included in the cost (unless the participant specifically informs the
organizers that he/she is already insured /e.g. Livret ETI/World)
