RÉSOLUTIONS 2019
2019 RESOLUTION
Garder sa motivation à long terme,
c’est ça le gros du défi. Comment je fais ? Voici
aurez atteint votre but!
Was it your resolution to get back in shape in
2019? You haven’t given up yet? Well done!
I may tell you this, but you’re part of a minority
of people. By February, most people have
already dropped out of gym or aqua jogging
classes. It’s not easy to keep your promises
to get back in shape when the daily routine
takes over after the holiday season. So, if you
survived the first month of effort, you have all
my admiration!
I’m not saying the worst is over. Oh, no, no, no,
no! The worst is yet to come. Maintaining longterm
motivation is the main challenge. How
do I do that? Here are my three basic rules for
staying motivated:
1-Have a goal. Register for a race, for example.
You’ll have no choice but to practice to get there.
And make sure your goal is realistic.
2-One day at a time. Your goal is an important
thing, but until you can achieve it, notice and
highlight each small improvement on a daily
basis.
3-Reward yourself. The carrot on the end of
the stick. Plan this treat in advance for the day
when you reach your goal!
Come on! I believe in you.
Allez! Je crois en vous.
