A 23 ans, lasprinteuse atteste sa progression ausein de l’élite du sprint continental.Après les Jeux de la Francophonie, ellea participé aux Championnats d’Afriquedu 200 m (23 s 63).En 2019, elle a remporté le Grand Prixde la Confédération africaine d’athlétismeà Yaoundé (Cameroun) et a améliorépar la même occasion son recordpersonnel dans ses deux disciplinesphares, notamment le 100 m (11 s 41)et le 200 m (23 s 04). Parmi ses compétitionsnotoires, on peut citer les JeuxAfricains de Rabat au Maroc en 2019où elle a décroché la 4e place. NatachaNgoye Akamabi a aussi participé auxJeux mondiaux militaires à Wuhan lamême année et a décroché la 5 e placedu 200 m (23 s 65) et la 7e place du100 m (11 s 81).
