Il reparto di Ricerca e Sviluppo AThENA ha progettato e realizzato un nuovo componente
racing per i tutti i ciclomotori equipaggiati dal motore MINARELLI AM 3-4-5-6.
Dopo un’attenta osservazione dei problemi che si verificano quotidianamente sia nelle officine
che durante le competizioni, AThENA ha studiato un sistema rapido per aiutare e semplificare
il controllo o la sostituzione della frizione.
Grazie al nuovo carter racing AThENA è possibile:
● ispezionare o cambiare la frizione senza togliere l’olio del motore, l’acqua dell’impianto di
raffreddamento e i relativi tubi di collegamento;
● aumentare le performance del motore:
- eliminando completamente il sistema meccanico di miscelazione e le relative perdite di
potenze dovute allo stesso.
- riducendo il volume interno del carter e la quantità d’olio rispetto all’OEM, minimizzando
gli sbattimenti e i relativi attriti, cause dell’aumento della temperatura d’esercizio con
conseguenti perdite di potenza e maggiore usura della frizione.
Il carter racing AThENA è adattabile a tutti i motori MINARELLI AM 3-4-5-6 senza alcuna
modifica e difficoltà al montaggio ed è utilizzabile sia per la versione con avviamento a pedale
che alla versione ad avviamento elettrico

The AThENA’s R&D department has developed a new racing product for all mopeds
with MINARELLI AM 3-4-5-6 engine.
In our day-to-day workshop and racing experience we have noted some difficulties in checking
and/or replacing the clutch in all Minarelli AM engines. Thus, AThENA has developed a NEW
RACING CLUTCH CASE to help and speed up these operations.
Thanks to the NEW ATHENA RACING CLUTCH CASE, it is possible to:
● Check and/or replace the clutch without draining the engine oil as well as the cooling water
and without unplugging its manifold.
● Increase engine performance by:
- Eliminating the oil mixing pump and therefore its mechanic losses;
- Reducing the total oil volume inside the engine, in order to decrease oil splashing and
frictions, which are the causes of temperature increase and consequential power loss
and clutch wearing.
The AThENA RACING CLUCH CASE can be easily fitted in all MINARELLI AM 3-4-5-6,
either electric or kick starting engines, without any modifications.
