2.5 Maximum speed (MAX)<br />

This function describes the operation/<br />

display of the maximum speed function.<br />

The information is displayed using digits<br />

2-5 and the abbreviation MAX, as shown<br />

in fi g.9.<br />

GENERAL INFORMATION<br />

The parameter identifi es the vehicle’s<br />

maximum speed reached, expressed in<br />

Km/h or in mph, depending on the unit<br />

of measurement selected.<br />

The counter linked to this parameter can<br />

be reset by pressing the button, near the<br />

MAX function, for approx. 2 seconds,<br />

until the value 00 appears.<br />

MAX can be reset when the vehicle is<br />

stopped or moving.<br />

The value is reset when the unit of measurement<br />

is changed.<br />

The datum is not stored permanently.<br />

Note: In the absence of mains<br />

power, the MAX value is irretrievably<br />

lost.<br />

2.6 Standby<br />

In vehicles without a rev counter, the<br />

standby function can be used to adjust<br />

the clock (see parag. 2.8.1).<br />
