tecnico
dendo sia noduli di grafite che
matrice) che molto ristretta
(singole lamelle di ferrite ed austenite).
Se utilizzate in maniera
complementare, le tecniche
XRD e EBSD possono portare
ad eccellenti risultati grazie all’incrocio
dei dati acquisiti.
Conclusioni
In questo lavoro sono state descritte
alcune tecniche di indagini
microstrutturali utili per eseguire
una corretta e completa caratterizzazione
di ghise ADI.
Riassumendo:
• la microscopia ottica, abbinata
alla metallografia mediante attacco
chimico, è a tutti gli effetti
una tecnica utilizzabile
per la quantificazione della
grafite e della ferrite aciculare,
sia per quanto riguarda la
rapidità del test e sia per il
costo contenuto;
• la tecnica XRD è impiegabile
per uno studio preciso della
quantificazione dell’ austenite
e per ottenere una stima del
grado di saturazione di carbonio
da essa raggiunto;
• l’analisi EBSD può invece essere
considerata una tecnica
innovativa, molto precisa e
flessibile seppur costosa, che
fornisce eccellenti risultati
per quanto riguarda la quantificazione
delle principali fasi
oltre ad un’ulteriore ampia
gamma di dati analitici sullo
stato strutturale.
