Mentorship
WISTA believes that young women
should be attracted into the maritime
industry. To assist this, WISTA has
teamed up with the World Maritime
University (WMU) to set up a mentorship
scheme. Master of Science students
who have opted for a thesis can
apply. It is envisaged that the WISTA
scholar will be assigned a project and
will have a one month internship with a
company. During that time the WISTA
scholar will be mentored by a WISTA
member. WISTA and WMU will be
