possui uma série de procedimentos que
devem ser seguidos para que o negócio tenha êxito.
É imprescindível estudar o mercado, logística, fluxo de caixa,
fatores climáticos, políticas de incentivo ou restritivas e muitos
outros. Conversamos com José Mauro Magalhães Ávila
Paz Moreira, pesquisador da Embrapa Florestas e especialista
na área. Ele não nos deu nenhuma fórmula mágica, mas
apontou caminhos para aumentar a chance de sucesso em
empreendimentos florestais.

lanting trees is not an exact science, but it definitely
has a number of procedures that must be followed
in order for the business to succeed. It is essential to
study the market, logistics, cash flow, climatic factors, incentive
or restrictive policies, and many others. We talked
with José Mauro Magalhães Ávila Paz Moreira, a Research
Scientist at Embrapa Florestas and a specialist in the field.
He didn’t give us any magic formula, but he did point out
ways to increase the chance of success in forest projects.
