Akbarkod brand, we have expanded out team
very fast. We make investments by participating
at local and international fairs and I can say that
we are one of the best companies of Turkey.’’
says Şahin. ‘’With the team of 24 person, we are
managing all processes from delivering to technical
service and the most important feature
that distinguishes us from our competitors it is the
focus on just doing this work. Our work seems to
be easy but it is a difficult work at backstage.
You can find our products in all kind of stationery
in any Street. Unfortunately, this is current state
of the market… But our difference is that we only
do this. We don’t sell textile products or stationery
products with these barcodes. Our team
only focuses on one thing and we are trying to
do it in our best way for 6 years now. We have
succeeded up to now.’’ says Şahin.
CENTRALIZED SOLUTIONS FOR CUSTOMERS
Şahin: ‘’We are trying to centralize as Akbarkod
in order to provide solutions to our customers. We
are providing technical support to all equipment
products and consumable products that we sell.
Also have accomplished these things by adding
software to our structure.’’ He also informed us
about the product range and said that, they provide
a sales and technical support of products
such as barcode printers, barcode readers and
handheld terminals. ’’ We are selling tag holder
fabrics such as satin, nonwoven, cotton, tyvek,
especially laundering instructions and ribbons
such as B110A, D110A, Wax and Wax/ Resin in order
to print these into fabrics. We also offer our
customers barcode labels that many sectors use
by manufacturing them. ‘’ says Şahin. Şahin also
added that they are forming 70% of customer
portfolio of the textile companies and in this sense,
they provide service to the leading companies
company in Turkey.
IMPORTANT COOPERATION WITH EPSON TURKEY
Şahin: ‘’ We continue to bring innovations to our
customers with the barcoding system in the shoe,
retail and food sector. We can meet our customers’
demands by using our power of producing
labels. The important part of this process is to produce.
That’s why we signed an agreement with
Epson Turkey recently. We will offer labels that
can be printed as user want it to be printed with
different colors with Epson label machines. People
are bored of mono color labels. They want
colorful products. When they look at the box they
want to see colored product label. That is what
we are going to accomplish with Epson Turkey.’’
Finally, Şahin, who answered our questions about
Akbarkod’s growth targets said that: ‘’We were
founded as a sales company. After a while we
expanded our company and added producing
and software field. Now we have a growth chart
that continues very regularly. We are participating
at Fairs and developing ourselves. We care
about the development of our team and we invest
in it. We want to provide more complex services
to our customers with Epson Turkey and our
software team. Our goal is provide more service
for the last user. We believe that we can achieve
that with our infrastructure.”
