Akbarkod brand, we have expanded out team<br />
very fast. We make investments by participating<br />
at local and international fairs and I can say that<br />
we are one of the best companies of Turkey.’’<br />
says Şahin. ‘’With the team of 24 person, we are<br />
managing all processes from delivering to technical<br />
service and the most important feature<br />
that distinguishes us from our competitors it is the<br />
focus on just doing this work. Our work seems to<br />
be easy but it is a difficult work at backstage.<br />
You can find our products in all kind of stationery<br />
in any Street. Unfortunately, this is current state<br />
of the market… But our difference is that we only<br />
do this. We don’t sell textile products or stationery<br />
products with these barcodes. Our team<br />
only focuses on one thing and we are trying to<br />
do it in our best way for 6 years now. We have<br />
succeeded up to now.’’ says Şahin.<br />
CENTRALIZED SOLUTIONS FOR CUSTOMERS<br />
Şahin: ‘’We are trying to centralize as Akbarkod<br />
in order to provide solutions to our customers. We<br />
are providing technical support to all equipment<br />
products and consumable products that we sell.<br />
Also have accomplished these things by adding<br />
software to our structure.’’ He also informed us<br />
about the product range and said that, they provide<br />
a sales and technical support of products<br />
such as barcode printers, barcode readers and<br />
handheld terminals. ’’ We are selling tag holder<br />
fabrics such as satin, nonwoven, cotton, tyvek,<br />
especially laundering instructions and ribbons<br />
such as B110A, D110A, Wax and Wax/ Resin in order<br />
to print these into fabrics. We also offer our<br />
customers barcode labels that many sectors use<br />
by manufacturing them. ‘’ says Şahin. Şahin also<br />
added that they are forming 70% of customer<br />
portfolio of the textile companies and in this sense,<br />
they provide service to the leading companies<br />
company in Turkey.<br />
IMPORTANT COOPERATION WITH EPSON TURKEY<br />
Şahin: ‘’ We continue to bring innovations to our<br />
customers with the barcoding system in the shoe,<br />
retail and food sector. We can meet our customers’<br />
demands by using our power of producing<br />
labels. The important part of this process is to produce.<br />
That’s why we signed an agreement with<br />
Epson Turkey recently. We will offer labels that<br />
can be printed as user want it to be printed with<br />
different colors with Epson label machines. People<br />
are bored of mono color labels. They want<br />
colorful products. When they look at the box they<br />
want to see colored product label. That is what<br />
we are going to accomplish with Epson Turkey.’’<br />
Finally, Şahin, who answered our questions about<br />
Akbarkod’s growth targets said that: ‘’We were<br />
founded as a sales company. After a while we<br />
expanded our company and added producing<br />
and software field. Now we have a growth chart<br />
that continues very regularly. We are participating<br />
at Fairs and developing ourselves. We care<br />
about the development of our team and we invest<br />
in it. We want to provide more complex services<br />
to our customers with Epson Turkey and our<br />
software team. Our goal is provide more service<br />
for the last user. We believe that we can achieve<br />
that with our infrastructure.”
