AIFD’s New Board of Directors Has Been Elected
AIFD’nin Yeni Yönetim Kurulu Belirlendi
The 17th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of
the Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies
Association (AIFD) was held on 14 February. In the
General Assembly, the permanent and alternate
members of AIFD’s new term management and
supervisory board were determined. AbbVie Turkey
General Manager Dr. Mete Hüsemoğlu was elected
Chairman of the AIFD Board of Directors.
The 17th Ordinary General Assembly of the Research-
Based Pharmaceutical Companies Association (AIFD) was
held on 14 February in Istanbul. In the General Assembly,
new board of directors and members of the supervisory
board of the association were elected. As a result of the
distribution of duties at the first meeting of the new
board of directors, Dr. Mete Hüsemoğlu was elected
Chairman of the Board.
New board members of the new term are as follows: Ali
Cem Öztürk (Sanofi), Avinash Potnis (Novartis), Burak
Cem (Novo Nordisk), Jose Daniel Lucas Guerrero (Lilly),
Mustafa Cem Açık (Pfizer), Natasa Klicko (Roche), Renan
Özyerli (MSD), Selim Giray (GSK), Serhat Mete Hüsemoğlu
(AbbVie), Şehram Zayer (Merck) and Uğur Bingöl (İ.E
Menarini) were selected. The AIFD Auditing Board
consists of Demet Russ (Johnson & Johnson), Muhittin
Bilgütay (Bausch + Lomb) and Serkan Barış (AstraZeneca).
At the AIFD General Assembly, the 2019 activities of
the association were evaluated and priorities for 2020
Araştırmacı İlaç Firmaları Derneği’nin (AIFD)
17’nci Olağan Genel Kurul toplantısı 14 Şubat’ta
gerçekleştirildi. Genel Kurul’da AIFD’nin yeni dönem
yönetim ve denetim kurulu asil ve yedek üyeleri
belirlendi. AbbVie Türkiye Genel Müdürü Dr. Serhat
Mete Hüsemoğlu AIFD Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı seçildi.
Araştırmacı İlaç Firmaları Derneği’nin (AIFD) 17’nci
Olağan Genel Kurulu, 14 Şubat’ta, İstanbul’da yapıldı.
Genel Kurul’da, derneğin yeni dönem yönetim kurulu ve
denetleme kurulu üyeleri seçildi. Yeni yönetim kurulunun
ilk toplantısında yapılan görev dağılımı sonucunda, Dr.
Serhat Mete Hüsemoğlu Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı seçildi.
Yeni dönemde AIFD Yönetim Kurulu üyeleri olarak Ali
Cem Öztürk (Sanofi), Avinash Potnis (Novartis), Burak
Cem (Novo Nordisk), Jose Daniel Lucas Guerrero (Lilly),
Mustafa Cem Açık (Pfizer), Natasa Klicko (Roche), Renan

AIFD Genel Kurulu’nda ayrıca, derneğin 2019 faaliyetleri
değerlendirilerek, 2020 yılına dair öncelikler görüşüldü.
Genel kurulun açılış konuşmasını yapan Dr. Mete
Hüsemoğlu, AIFD’nin kuruluşundan bu yana “Türkiye’deki
hastaların yenilikçi ilaçlara ve tedavilere erişimlerini
artırmak, iyileştirmek ve sağlık alanında etik ve şeffaf bir
