หน้าฝนทีไร ทำไมกรุงเทพฯ ต้องน้ำท่วมทุกที เกิดคำถามในใจชาว กทม.ว่า ทำไมน้ำท่วมง่ายจัง วันนี้ จะเล่าให้ฟังเรื่องวิธีการระบายน้ำในแบบต่างๆ
Why is Bangkok flooded every rainy season? Bangkokians are wondering why Bangkok gets flooded so easily. Today,
will describe various ways to drain away the water.
เข้าใจน้ำ ก่อนอื่นเราต้องเข้าใจ “น้ำ” เสียก่อนว่า
1 น้ำมีความเป็นไปง่ายๆ คือ ไหลจากที่สูงลงที่ต่ำ
ดังนั้น ที่ลาดคือพื้นที่ที่น้ำจะระบายได้เร็วที่สุด
และที่ลุ่มคือพื้นที่ราบเรียบซึ่งน้ ำจะระบายได้ช้า นี่คือสาเหตุ
ที่หลายบ้านนิยมถมที่ให้สูงกว่าถนนเยอะๆ เพราะนอกจาก
จะไม่ทำให้น้ำจากถนนไหลเข้าบ้านแล้ว ท่อระบายน้ำยัง
เอียงได้มากกว่า น้ำก็ไหลเร็วกว่า

แต่เมื่อถึงจุดที่เมืองขยายจนต้องการถนนมากขึ้น
จึงมีการถมคลองที่ไม่ใช่แค่เขตคลองถม พอถมคลองไป
เครือข่ายก็ไม่ต่อเนื่อง การระบายน้ำก็เลยทำไม่ได้ข้อดีของ
ของระบบคูคลองคือระบายน้ ำได้เร็ว แต่เสียพื้นที่มากต้องระวัง
วัชพืชและขยะอุดตัน
Understand the water : Firstly we have to understand
its nature. Water simply flows from higher to lower
ground. Therefore, the slope terrain is the best for the
draining process, while the flat plain drains slowly. This
is why many people prefer to raise their land up much
higher than the roads. Not only will that prevent water
from the nearby roads, but it also enable steeper slope
for the drainage pipes - thus a faster flow.
Open ditch drain : Bangkok did have a brilliant
canal network. But when the city started to exand, more
roads were needed and some canals were filled. Once
canal network was broken, the drainage began to have
problems. The advantage of canal drainage is speed. The
drawbacks are loss of large land area and problems of
unwanted weeds and trashes.
ระบายน้ำแบบรูตุ่น วิธีนี้ไม่ค่อยมีใครท ำกันแล้ว
3 เพราะต้องการความแข็งของผิวดินมาก วิธีการ
คือทำทางน้ำใต้ดินหรือลากโซ่เหล็กลงไปใต้ดิน
แล้วกรีดผิวดินเป็นทางเล็กๆ เพื่อให้น้ำไหลลงไปหาทางน้ำ
ที่ทำไว้ ส่วนใหญ่ ใช้งานชั่วคราวเท่านั้น
Mole drain : Nowadays, this method is rarely used
because it needs the surface soil to be very strong since
watercourses are built or iron chains are laid under
ground. The ground surface is then cut into narrow gutters
so that water flows into the prepared watercourses
underground. This is mostly used as a contemporary
execution.
แบบท่อระบายน้ำ นี่คือวิธีที่ทำกันในปัจจุบัน
4 โดยใช้การฝังท่อลงไปใต้ผิวดินเพื่อให้น้ำไหลไป
ตามท่อ ซึ่งใช้ได้ทั้งท่อซีเมนต์และท่อพีวีซีมีการ
เจาะรูจากบนผิวดินให้ลงไปถึงท่อและต้องมีบ่อพักเป็นระยะๆ
ข้อดีของวิธีนี้คือได้พื้นผิวมาทำถนน ส่วนข้อเสียคือลงทุนสูง
และต้องระวังการอุดตัน
Pipe drain : This is the present method today.
Cement and PVC pipes are laid underground to drain
the water. Holes are then bored from the surface down
to those pipes. There must be intermittent water sumps.
The main advantage of this method is the free surface
for roads. The drawbacks are its high investment cost
and the problem of clogging.
แบบบ่อเก็บน้ำ วิธีนี้เป็นการขุดบ่อเอาไว้เพื่อให้
5 น้ำไหลมารวมกันในบ่อ ซึ่งระดับน้ำในบ่อขึ้นกับ
ระดับน้ำในผิวดินและการปล่อยน้ำออกจากบ่อ
จริงๆ แล้ววิธีนี้คือระบบการทำเขื่อนหรืออ่างเก็บน้ำที่ใช้กัน
อยู่ทั่วประเทศ ข้อเสียคือเสียพื้นที่มาก แต่ข้อดีคือระบายน้ำ
ลงบ่อได้เร็วมาก
Well drain : Wells are dug to catch water. The level
of water in the wells depends on the water table in the
soil and the draining of the water from those wells. In
fact, this is the same method normally used in dams or
reservoirs in our country. The drawback is lot of land is
needed but the advantage is fast drainage.
แบบ กทม.2017 วิธีนี้ไม่แนะนำอย่างยิ่ง
6 เป็นการระบายน้ำผ่านขยะอุดตันกว่า 5,000
กิโลกรัมที่มีทั้งโซฟาและของใช้ในบ้านเรือนทำให้
น้ำไหลออกได้ช้ามาก ส่งผลให้น้ำท่วมไปทั่วเมือง เราควร
ช่วยกันลดปัญหานี้โดยการไม่ทิ้งขยะลงแม่น้ ำลำคลอง น้ำท่วม
ที่ผ่านมาเราโทษผู้ว่าฯ โทษฟ้าฝน แล้วอย่าลืมโทษคนกรุง
กันเองด้วยนะ
Bangkok 2017 : This method is absolutely not
recommended. Water flows through over 5,000 Kg.
of clogging trashes, including furniture and unwanted
household appliances. Thus the water can be drained
out very slowly, and the city is submerged. We should
all help reduce this problem by stop throwing away our
garbage into canals and rivers. We used to blame our
governors or bad weather for previous floods, but we
should not forget to blame ourselves too.
