CAN-AM Spyder Roadster with sequential semi-automatic transmission
The Can-Am Spyder® Roadster, a three-wheeled vehicle that combines the best of the worlds of
motorcycle riding and car driving in a completely new way, is now also available with an optional
sequential five-speed transmission and electronic fuel-management system. The semi-automatic SE5
transmission increases riding comfort and allows for even keener enjoyment of the unique driving
experience of this vehicle. The Spyder Roadster is based on a Y-architecture, with two front wheels and
one in the rear, and has a Rotax 998 ccm V-twin gasoline engine with electronic fuel injection. The
two-cylinder engine generates an output of 79 kW/106 hp at 8,500 rpm, a maximum torque of 104
Nm at 6,250 rpm and allows driving performance at the level of a high-performance motorcycle. The
safety system of the Can-Am Spyder® Roadster includes the "Vehicle Stability System" (VSS), which
operates like an electronic stability program in a passenger car, a "Stability Control System" with rollover
protection, a traction control system, and an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force
distribution.

CAN-AM ATVs für 2009
Zum Modelljahr 2009 steigert BRP die Leistung seiner Topmodelle Renegade und Outlander mit
einer neuen 800R-Version der flüssigkeitsgekühlten 800 ccm Rotax® Viertakt-Motor mit
Kraftstoffeinspritzung. Neben den Modellen Outlander 800, 650 und 400 ergänzt BRP seine Line-up
nun durch den Outlander 500 XT und Outlander 500 MAX XT. Jedes dieser Hubraumsegmente ist als
zweisitzige Outlander MAX-Version (außer 500er-Modell), als Outlander XT Version, d.h. inklusive
werkseitigem Zubehörpaket, oder als Outlander MAX XT Version erhältlich. Das komplett ausgestattete
zweisitzige Touring-Modell Outlander MAX 800R EFI LTD erhält unter anderem eine BRP XL 3000
Seilwinde mit Seilführungsrollenfenster und Fernbedienung. Das Can-Am ATV-Sportmodell DS 450
EFI gibt es im Modelljahr 2009 zusätzlich in den Modellversionen DS 450 X mx (für Motocross-Fahrer)
und DS 450 X xc (für Cross-Country Fahrer). Als EC- Modell bietet BRP das DS 450 Standardmodell und
die DS 450 X an. Auch das Modell DS 450 X mx ist als EC-Modell erhältlich. Das Einstiegsmodell in die
Freizeitsport-Kategorie bleibt die Can-Am DS 250. Das Can-Am Viertakt-Jugendmodell DS 90TM
XTM rundet die Modellpalette der 2009er Can-Am ATVs optimal ab.

For the 2009 model year, BRP is increasing the performance of its flagship models Renegade and
Outlander with a new 800R version of the liquid-cooled 800 ccm Rotax® four-stroke engine with fuel
injection. In addition to the models Outlander 800, 650 and 400, BRP is now adding the Outlander 500
XT and Outlander 500 MAX XT to its line-up. Each of these cubic-capacity segments is available as
either a two-seater Outlander MAX version (except the Outlander MAX 500 model), as an Outlander
