Vollgas auf der schnellsten Baustelle Deutschlands.
Die Weiterentwicklung des Nürburgrings zu einem ganzjährigen Freizeit- und Businesszentrum geht zur
Zeit mit großen Schritten voran. Nach dem Spatenstich im November 2007 und der Grundsteinlegung
im April 2008 wird jetzt parallel zur „schnellsten Baustelle Deutschlands“ bereits mit Hochdruck an den
Feierlichkeiten rund um die Eröffnung gearbeitet. Zweirad-Fans werden zur Superbike WM 2009 ein
völlig neues Nürburgring-Gesicht erleben – mit noch mehr Service- und Entertainmentmöglichkeiten.
Pünktlich zur Motorsportsaison 2009 wird die neue Infrastruktur beweisen, was sie kann. Der Ausbau
des Nürburgrings ist der wichtigste Meilenstein in seiner Geschichte seit Errichtung der Nordschleife
1927 und der Ergänzung durch die Grand-Prix-Strecke 1984. Wetterunabhängige Präsentations- und
Eventflächen gehören ebenso dazu wie zusätzliche Übernachtungskapazitäten in unmittelbarer Nähe
zur Rennstrecke sowie erweiterte Angebote für Firmenkunden und ring°werk (eine Indoor-Attraktion,
inhaltlich gestaltet zum „Mythos Nürburgring“ und das mit dem schnellsten Fahrgeschäft der Welt).

The further development of the Nürburgring into an all-year Leisure and Business Center is at present
making enormous progress. After the groundbreaking in November 2007 and the laying of the
foundation stone in April 2008 the preparations for the opening celebrations are currently going ahead
at full speed, parallel to the work on “Germany’s fastest construction site”. Bike fans at the Superbike
WC 2009 can look forward to a Nürburgring with a completely new face – and even more service and
entertainment possibilities. The new infrastructure will prove its worth in time for the 2009 motor
