Claudia Schmitt hat schon mit 4 Jahren Ballettunterricht genommen,
bis sie 15 war, dann klassischen Gitarrenunterricht. Seit sie
denken kann, malt sie und ist fasziniert von allem, was mit Kunst
und Kreativität zu tun hat. Sich ausdrücken über Farben und Formen.
Der Fantasie freien Lauf lassen. Da sie beruflich als Verwaltungsleiterin
des Weingutes Bodegas Castell Miquel auf Mallorca
sehr eingespannt war, begann sie erst 2009 mit dem abstrakten
Malen. Claudia Schmitt ist total besessen vom Malen und könnte
nichts anderes tun, leider fehlt ihr etwas die Zeit und langsam
fängt sie auch an, einige Bilder in die Öffentlichkeit zu bringen.

Claudia Schmitt began ballet classes at the tender age of four,
and continued until the age of 15 when she took up classical guitar
lessons. As soon as thoughts could run through her mind, she
has been fascinated by anything to do with art and creativity. Using
colours and shapes as a form of expression. Giving imagination
free rein. With her position of events manager at the Bodegas
Castell Miquel wine estate taking up much of her time, she only
began working on her abstract paintings in 2009. Claudia Schmitt
is totally obsessed with painting and couldn’t imagine doing anything
else. Although she lacks time, she is slowly getting round to
exhibiting her paintings.

Bombolo
Anfang der 60er Jahre macht er eine Lehre als Koch und begibt
sich dann seinen Beruf ausübend auf Wanderjahre rund um
den Erdball. Zwischen 1970 und 1983 besitzt und leitet er verschiedene
Restaurants, bis er auf dem Höhepunkt dieser Karriere
mit seinem bisherigen Leben bricht. Er widmet sich einige
Zeit der Restaurierung eines alten Lotsenkutters, mit dem zeitweise
Ernest Hemingway segelte, und unternimmt zahlreiche
Studienreisen, u.a. in die dänische Inselwelt, die Hopi- und Navajo-Reservate
im Südwesten Amerikas, nach London, Südengland
und Japan. 1992 beginnt er, seine Malerei auszustellen.
2011 kehrt er nach 29 Jahren auf Mallorca zurück nach Deutschland
an die Lahn.
At the beginning of the 1960s, he worked as an apprenticeship
chef before working in this profession as he travelled the globe
in the following years. Between 1970 and 1983, he owned and
managed several restaurants before he broke away from this profession
at the highpoint of his career. He dedicated a number
of years to the restoration of an old pilot cutter with which Ernest
Hemingway had occasiaonally sailed, and went on a number
of educational trips, taking in the Danish islands, the Hopi
and Navajo reserves in south-western America, London, southern
England and Japan. He began exhibiting his paintings in 1992.
He returned to Germany in 2011, settling in the Lahn region after
28 years in Majorca.
