Abends gingen wir auf die coole
„Austrian party“, auf der wir auch
prompt Leute aus der Schweiz,
Frankreich, aus Afrika und Asien
kennen lernten. Obwohl ein junger
Herr aus Deutschland versucht
hatte, unsere Frau Prof. Eisenkölbl
dazu zu bringen, dass wir länger
bleiben durften, war um 23.20 Uhr
Schluss. Immerhin hatten wir 20 Minuten
„gewonnen“.
Nach der Schule ging’s am Donnerstag
wieder nach London, wo
wir den Nachmittag beim Einkaufen
oder im Starbucks verbrachten. Der
Abend brachte ein Kulturprogramm.
Eine Gruppe sah sich das Musical
„The Lion King“ an, die andere
Gruppe staunte über die Gesangsund
Tanzkünste im Musical „Chicago“.
Wir kamen erst wieder um 1
Uhr in Ramsgate an, wo wir völlig
fertig und voller Freude auf den Abreisetag
in unsere Betten sanken
und einschliefen.
Der Freitag brachte uns wieder in
Richtung Heimat, wo wir um ca.
17.00 Uhr ankamen.
Abenteuer England –
7. Klasse
On May 20th our little adventure to
England could finally start. Tired but
excited we met at 7am at our school
where a bus picked us up for Zurich.
From Zurich we continued our journey
to London. At the airport we
were picked up by two little busses
and after some difficulties we even
got used to the left-hand-traffic. In
the evening we enjoyed a British
dinner with our host families who
were (the more or less) wonderful.
After a British Breakfast we were
picked up for language school
where we were having quite amusing
lessons with our teachers
Laura and Paul. In the afternoon
(after an interesting meal at the
school canteen) we enjoyed a sightseeing
tour through Canterbury. We
were really impressed by the old
cathedral and the other sights. Of
course there was also some time
for shopping. Armed with a map of
Canterbury we even managed to be
back at the canteen (for another
interesting meal) on time. After
dinner we went to a typical English
pub where we spent the rest of the
evening.
The next day we had class at Stafford
House again and in the afternoon
we had to do some surveys
about British culture and we were
able to talk to a lot of nice and
interesting people. After a hilarious
bus ride which was a bit longer than
expected we went bowling in the
evening with Ed and were having
lots of fun. Prof. Eberle impressed
and totally surprised us with her
bowling skills.
On Wednesday we attended as
usual the English classes and after
lunch we were doing a photography
project in and about Canterbury. In
the evening we played some games
and quizzes at Stafford house.
We all were quite impatient in the
morning during class because in
