auf die Idee bringen, Tiere zu adoptieren<br />
anstatt zu kaufen. Zu den Gewinnern in<br />
vergangenen Jahren zählen Quasi Modo<br />
mit riesigem Kopf und kurzem Körper<br />
sowie Mugly, dessen Gesicht eher dem<br />
eines Seehundes ähnelt.<br />
TRUE BEAUTY comes from within – even<br />
when it comes to dogs. That’s the message<br />
of the “world’s ugliest dog contest”,<br />
held in Petaluma, north of San Francisco.<br />
The event is meant to encourage more<br />
people to adopt animals instead of<br />
buying from a bree<strong>der</strong>. Previous years’<br />
winners include Quasi Modo with his<br />
huge head and short body, plus Mugly –<br />
