Auch zukünftig wird die WiR ihre Servicedienstleistungen<br />
für die Unternehmen bereitstellen, wobei das Angebot<br />
ständig weiter verbessert wird. Neuestes Kind im Unterstützungsangebot<br />
für Unternehmen ist die regionale<br />
Steinbeis Hochschultransfergesellschaft an der Hochschule<br />
<strong>Ravensburg</strong>-Weingarten, deren operative Geschäftsführung<br />
von der WiR übernommen wurde. Einerseits soll damit<br />
den Unternehmen im Landkreis die Verfügbarkeit von praxisorientierten<br />
Forschungsressourcen an der Hochschule<br />
<strong>Ravensburg</strong>-Weingarten noch transparenter dargestellt<br />
werden, andererseits soll mit Hilfe der neuen Gesellschaft<br />
jungen Unternehmen eine einfach nutzbare Plattform für<br />
die ersten Unternehmensjahre angeboten werden.<br />

of industry and commerce WiR dedicates its work to various<br />
themes and concerns of the region and realises initiatives such<br />
as e.g. “Career in the South” which recruits junior staff. Since<br />
2006 the <strong>Ravensburg</strong> contact office for women and career has<br />
also been assigned to WiR and takes care of the recruiting of<br />
female technical and managerial staff but also deals with<br />
subjects such as career planning and re-entry in the job after a<br />
family or home care phase. Another recently initiated offer is<br />
the regional Steinbeis university transfer company at the university<br />
of <strong>Ravensburg</strong>-Weingarten whose operative management<br />

network services, advice and technology transfer and to carry<br />

into the world. The commitment of WiR for the economic<br />

large pool of experts in science and industry. Especially the<br />
small and medium-sized companies visited by WiR managing<br />
