Instead of spending the days of arrival and departure in the
»big city« of Windhoek, I think it is much better to stay just
a few kilometres from the gates of the city in the middle of a
private national park, and to be able to go on a game drive
or for a spa treatment. Anything is possible here, including a
pool or a massage, or even a game drive with the opportunity
to watch rhinos.
Large, opulent rooms, your own balcony with a view
over the vast landscape, delicious meals and probably one of
the finest pools in the country; I think GocheGanas is well
worth recommending! A stay of between one and three nights
is also a good way of starting to get attuned to Africa.
