“We catch the first rays of the sun in the morning here and the
last ones in the evening. It's the sunniest place in the whole of
Andermatt,” enthuses Bernhard Russi as he talks about the apartments

The 100 or so units in the Gotthard Residences, which combine a traditional
holiday apartment with hotel services and superb sport and wellness
facilities, offer the ideal space for fun and relaxation. On the top floors
there are 19 exclusive units and loft-level apartments. The apartments can
be let directly from the Radisson Blu hotel operators. This optional letting
programme guarantees a 3% return in the first three years. The units,
ranging from studios (45 m²) to 4.5-bedroom apartments (133 m²), can be
purchased furnished.
Indeed, for the energetic Bernhard Russi, everything is just a few
minutes' walk away. “In winter, the cross-country skiing trail starts
practically outside the front door. For downhill skiing, the sunny
slopes on the Nätschen or the powder snow on the Gemsstock are
also very close by. And in summer, I can play on the 18-hole golf
course.”
Along with the surrounding houses, the building forms the attractively
designed village square – the piazza. With bars, restaurants
and shops, it's becoming a favourite place to meet. “And who
knows?” grins Bernhard Russi, “perhaps we'll meet here very soon
over a cup of coffee!”
