Nach einer längeren Pause finden die Sortenschauen in diesem Jahr wieder statt! Endlich! Wir können neue Sortimente besichtigen. Wir sehen, was die Züchter und Jungpflanzenunternehmen zu bieten haben. Wir treffen Kolleginnen und Kollegen, tauschen uns aus. Natürlich kann man auch online Treffen organisieren und Bilder zeigen. Aber den Duft einer Pflanze und ihre ganze Wirkung, das ist live doch viel besser zu erleben. Gleiches gilt für den Austausch untereinander – das ist bei einer gemeinsamen Tasse Kaffee auf den FlowerTrials viel erfreulicher, als sich gegenseitig nur am Bildschirm zu sehen. Wir freuen uns auf die Sortenschauen im Juni und auch auf die Sommerausgabe der IPM (Seite 7) – und sind sehr gespannt, wen von Ihnen wir bei diesen Top-Events treffen werden! After a long break, the variety shows will finally take place again this year! Finally! We can see new assortments. We see what the breeders and young plant companies have to offer. We meet colleagues, exchange ideas. Of course, you can organize meetings online and show pictures. But the scent of a plant and its whole effect, that is much better to experience live. The same applies to the exchange among each other – that is much more enjoyable over a cup of coffee at the FlowerTrials than just seeing each other on the screen. We are looking forward to the variety shows in June and also to the summer edition of IPM (page 7) – and we are very curious to see which of you we will meet there!
