LIEBLINGE
MASTERPIECES
Nina Heyd, the founder of the Munich-based jewellery label CAPULET, is a wild romantic. Her motto:
“Modesty is out of place. It’s time for something bigger”. In love as well as in jewellery. That’s why her jewellery
pieces are unique, as beautiful and rare to find as real heartbeats.
Restrained instead of loud, subtly romantic, cool and postmodern.
That is the fashion of Hannes Roether. He prefers to tailor natural
fabrics such as linen, cotton and silk, for men and women. Pieces
that fit perfectly casually and make you want to celebrate summer
and autumn on a country estate in Tuscany.
HANNES ROETHER STORE, PROMENADEPLATZ 2
How exciting when contrasts become harmony, isn’t it? That’s exactly what happens every day at the
LENGLING perfume house, the first of its kind in Munich. Since 2014, the married couple Ursula and Christian Lengling
have been mixing emotional luxury perfumes. Nicely named Leng and Ling are also the contrasting notes that
characterise each fragrance. The most beautiful homage to Munich: the bottle cap is an Isar pebble cast in precious metal.
ALLERWELTSKERL
Der Münchner Künstler Ortwin Klipp (li.) hat Malerei, Fotografie,
Grafik- und Produktdesign erlernt und taucht gern in digitale Welten
ab. Seine Werke sind weltweit beliebt. Zuletzt hatte er eine
Ausstellung auf der Dubai Design Week
DER
(R)EVOLUTIONÄR
Was macht das Leben aus? Dass es permanent in Bewegung
ist. „Stillstehen, heißt rückwärtsgehen“, so der Künstler Ortwin
Klipp. Veränderung ist Magie und Essenz unseres Seins. Genau
das spiegelt seine Fotoserie „Evolution“ wider. Er fotografiert
dafür Menschen und verfremdet sie digital. Er erschafft
organische Formen, die er coloriert. Die Farben als Spiegel der
Seele. Geheimnisvoll schön.
What is the essence of life? That it is constantly in motion. “To
stand still means going backwards,” says the artist Ortwin
Klipp. Change is magic and the essence of our being. This is exactly
what his photo series “Evolution” reflects. For this purpose,
he photographs people and alienates them digitally. He creates
organic forms that he colours. The colours serve as a mirror of
the soul. Mysteriously beautiful.
