Aims + Objectives
To convey the fundamentals of the monetarily
controlled economy e.g. assets as liquid reserve
and as security for financing investments and
consumer projects.
Teaching Method
Lecture with discussion
Syllabus
Property and division of labour as conditions of
the monetary economy. �e monetary context of
assets and money. �e financing of the economy
process by the banking system. Assets for the
refinancing of business banks at central banks.
Assets for the refinancing of non-banks at commercial
banks, modification value of assets in the
business cycle. Lender of last resort and moral
hazard.
