Grundlegung); Bildungs- und Berufsbildungssystem
der Bundesrepublik Deutschland (ansatzweise

− Einflussfaktoren und Orientierungspunkte
der Berufsbildung −
Gesellscha�spolitische Grundsätze der Berufsbildung
− Ausbildungsstätten im Dualen
System (inklusive außer- und überbetriebliche

Aims + Objectives
To impart knowledge and critical discussion of
basic problems and the approaches to problem
solving.
Teaching Method
Independent study of indicative Reading by the
students; the course serves primarily as a colloquium
(discussion of questions to check understanding,
discussion of cases, additional material
as well as videotaping).
Syllabus
Education, learning, training, socialisation, general
knowledge, vocational training (fundamental
concepts); educational and vocational training
system of the Federal Republic of Germany (to
some extent also the USA, France and Great
Britain) − Factors influencing and points of reference
of vocational training − �e socio-political
basic principles of vocational training − Training
centres in the dual system of vocational training
in Germany (including school/company and
inter-company education institutions) − Tasks,
position and responsibility of the instructor − Organisation
and regulation of vocational training,
further training and continuing education as well
as retraining; discussions concerning financing,
certification and modularisation.
