Research and development are key contributors to Saft’s
leadership in cell and battery system design and
production. Saft has a long heritage of development of
new technologies and improvements to existing solutions
to respond to the changing needs of the market. This is
an asset that only a few companies possess, allowing Saft
to achieve its market goals and differentiate its technology
from competition. Saft is also focusing its efforts on
developing complete systems for customers with embedded
electronics. Saft is continuing to build on the accumulated
expertise of its R&D specialists both sides of the Atlantic,
working to develop innovative solutions and customdesigned
battery systems for a variety of industrial
and specialty applications.
