As a developer and manufacturer of industrial and
specialty batteries, Saft works constantly with a certain
number of chemicals. As such, the Group, with its in-depth
knowledge of their impact, shares the issues of the
chemical industry and manages them as a responsible
company. This involves managing risks to health, safety
and the environment, regulatory requirements, and the
perception of stakeholders, and customers of safe
products. Saft takes these matters seriously and has
instituted programmes to protect people and the planet.
