1.0 GENERAL
1.1 This document describes in detail the scope of work, supply and responsibilities of
Contractor for procurement of natural gas USM based Check metering system for Auraiya
and USM based Metering Skid for supplying gas to KFCL, Kanpur. In this contract USM
based two stream metering system and skid is envisaged. Each of the two independent
streams of metering system and skid (1 operating + 1 standby) shall be designed to cater
max. (rated) flow capacity mentioned elsewhere. Bidder shall size and provide indicative
size / dimension of complete skid along with P&ID / GAD of metering Skid.
The scope of work/ supply includes Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Inspection,
Testing, and Supervision for Installation & commissioning of, metering system (skid
mounted, consisting of two independent streams of flow measurement (through USM)
along with, necessary control panel, valves, piping, instruments & fittings) and Metering
skid (consisting of two independent streams of Filtration, Pressure Reduction system, flow
measurement (through USM) along with GC, FCV, metering supervisory system,
necessary control panel, valves, piping, instruments & fittings).
The Required Flow capacity, Location, Quantity, type of meter, panel, etc in the Metering
system and Skid is as under:

1.2 The description and requirements contained in this specification are concise by
necessity and cannot include all details. However, it is the responsibility of the
contractor to execute the job on a turnkey basis in accordance with the
specifications and internationally recognized good engineering practices.
