Note: This is not a certification course. Students must be age 15<br />
years or older to enroll. All students must complete a medical questionnaire<br />

Learn the basic requirements and practical techniques for<br />
recreational scuba diving. Prepare to meet the requirements<br />
for the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI)<br />
certification. Discuss the physics related to diving; first aid<br />
and safe practices in diving; dive planning; and underwater<br />
communications. Demonstrate proper use and handling of<br />
underwater breathing apparatus and other diving equipment.<br />
CEUs awarded. $275 includes $207 fee.<br />
Note: Student must pass a swimming exam. Includes textbook and<br />
all scuba equipment except mask, snorkel and fins. A medical exam<br />
may be required. Certification is available after successful completion<br />
and four open water check-out dives (cost not included).<br />
