Basic Life Support/CPR/First Aid<br />

Taught by experienced professionals, these high quality,<br />

science-based courses are for professional health care/<br />

medical rescue personnel. The American Heart Association<br />

(AHA) developed all of the CPR courses. After passing a<br />

skills review and written exam, receive an AHA certification<br />

card valid for two years.<br />

Note: Students will receive CPR cards in the mail seven<br />

Child care providers, teachers, camp counselors, security personnel,<br />

fitness trainers, lifeguards and any other nonmedical<br />

personnel learn adult, infant and child CPR and choking<br />

procedures. Discuss basic first aid, medical emergencies and<br />

environmental emergencies. Train to use an AED (Automated<br />

External Defibrillator). Textbook information available at<br />
