Senior courses are for individuals age 55 and older<br />

and disabled retirees so certified by the Social Security<br />

Administration. Students ages 55-59 must pay $40<br />

tuition per course plus a $80 administrative fee per<br />

three-month cycle (cycle fee) plus any fees for each<br />

course. Seniors age 60 and older and disabled retirees<br />

pay only the $80 cycle fee plus any supplies and lab<br />

fees. Course cycles are January-March, April-June, July-<br />

September and October-December.<br />

AACC offers courses for seniors at the Arnold campus,<br />

Glen Burnie Town Center and at various senior centers<br />

throughout <strong>Anne</strong> <strong>Arundel</strong> County. Seniors now may<br />

register online, mail, STARS or in person at the Arnold<br />

campus, CALT 115. For a list of senior center courses,<br />

contact your local senior center or visit<br />

www.aacc.edu/seniors.<br />

Students taking classes at each senior center must<br />

join that center in advance of the course start date.<br />

AACC's Guild for Life is a self-directed learning community<br />

in which members have the opportunity to<br />

plan the series of lectures and tours. Lectures occur<br />

at 12:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month.<br />

Tours take place the following Tuesday, Wednesday<br />

or Thursday. Tour sites require extensive walking.<br />

Participants must be able to walk without assistance<br />

or provide their own caregiver who will also need to<br />

register as a Guild member. Each lecture will be an<br />

informational presentation regarding the upcoming<br />

tour. The same tour is offered on all three days.<br />

Lecture topics and tour locations are subject to<br />

change. Transportation is provided via AACC buses.<br />

Entrance fees and meals are additional. Only pay the<br />

entrance fees and meals for the events you attend.<br />

Cost for the lecture series is only $15†. Cost for the<br />

lecture and tour series is $55†. For more information<br />
