AACC offers a comprehensive ESL program with a variety<br />

of courses at the beginning, intermediate, high intermediate,<br />

advanced and capstone levels. Courses are designed<br />

to provide students with the English language skills they<br />

need for success at work, in the community or for academic<br />

The ESL placement test is offered at the following<br />

English Basic Skills<br />

The English Basic Skills courses are for students who are<br />

just beginning to study English. These classes integrate<br />

listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Students<br />

develop English language skills for everyday life.<br />

A grant from the state of Maryland allows the college<br />

to offer English Basic Skills courses at no cost to students<br />

who reside in <strong>Anne</strong> <strong>Arundel</strong> County. For more information,<br />
