Soldering — ipC J StD-001C training and
Certification program
Learn the requirements of J-STD-001 Soldering and related
standards as they apply to operators and inspectors involved
in the assembly of products. Study general soldering requirements,
wrapping and soldering of standard wire connections
to various terminals, installing and soldering components
in plated thru-hold boards, mounting and soldering components
in SMT boards, inspection, criteria of the IPC/EIA J-STD-
001, basic shop math, electronic component identification,
skills required to apply for certification. Includes lecture, lab
and demonstrations. The instructor is a registered JSTD-001
trainer. Students who are successful in demonstrating the
J-STD-001 requirements will be awarded a two-year operator
