The MIBT/SIBT-S3A-210 series fiber optic transmitters provide a<br />

high-quality system for transferring up to ten video channels over single<br />

mode optical fiber with complete EMI immunity. The units offer<br />

exceptional analog bandwidth from 5 MHz to 250 MHz allowing transmission<br />

of all sub-band channels, low-band channels, FM channels,<br />

and mid-band channels. The lowest high-band channels may also be<br />

accommodated. The best performance will be achieved when the<br />

channel plan is designed to contain all of the channels within a single<br />

octave of bandwidth. The system can transmit signals from a VCR,<br />

camcorder or cable television feed over a distance of 10 km on one single<br />

mode fiber.<br />

It is very important to provide the proper RF signal level to the transmitter.<br />

The transmitter includes a tri-color RF level indicator that allows<br />

the optimum RF input level to be quickly and positively identified. A<br />

state-of-the-art 1310 nm single mode laser and PIN detector are used to achieve the performance levels cited. This<br />

product is recommended for use with single mode fibers only. A minimum fiber bandwidth of 500 MHz is required.<br />
