APPLICATIONS<br />
The MIBT/SIBT-M3T-25 series transmitters, used with the MIBR/SIBR M3T-25<br />
receivers, provide a high-quality system for transferring up to five video channels<br />
per multimode fiber with complete EMI immunity via fiber optics. The units offer<br />
exceptional analog bandwidth from 5 MHz to 250 MHz, allowing transmission of<br />
all sub-band channels, low-band channels, FM channels, and mid-band channels.<br />
The lowest high-band channels may also be accommodated.<br />
The best performance will be achieved when the channel plan is designed to contain<br />
all of the channels within a single octave of bandwidth. When used in conjunction<br />
with a VCR, a camcorder, or cable television feed, the system can transmit<br />
TV channels 2 through 6, along with their sound carriers, over a distance of 3<br />
km or more at 1310 nm, over a single 62.5/125 µm multimode fiber.<br />
The carrier-to-noise (CNR) ratio is typically 47 dB at low optical loss. The units<br />
also offer exceptional performance at lower channel loadings. This product is<br />
recommended for use with 62.5/125 µm fibers only. A minimum fiber bandwidth of<br />
250 MHz is required.<br />
