LNB Type (settings)<br />
Use the buttons to select the LNB type used in your system. The selections available are<br />
“Universal” and “user-defi ned” (the selection “Wideband” is required only for single-cable feed systems<br />
such as the UAS 481 from <strong>Kathrein</strong>).<br />
Universal and Wideband:<br />
No further input is required, since all necessary frequency ranges are covered by a Universal/<br />
Wideband LNB.<br />
user-defi ned:<br />
If you choose not to use a Universal or Wideband LNB, you must here set the frequency ranges for<br />
which your LNB was confi gured.<br />
Use the buttons to select the frequency range to be changed (low, high or limit frequency).<br />
Use the buttons or the number keys to set the exact frequency for which your LNB was<br />
confi gured.<br />
Test transponder<br />
Connection and Setup<br />
Use the buttons to select a transponder for the satellite selected above (this works only after<br />
a new registration).<br />
Then press the button to save the settings for the fi rst satellite.<br />
If you wish to receive a second satellite with your reception system, use the buttons to switch to<br />
the “<strong>Satellite</strong> and Position” line, and select the second satellite.<br />
Then perform the settings (LNB and Test transponder) for the second satellite, in the same way as for<br />
the fi rst satellite.<br />
As soon as you have saved all settings for the selected number of satellites, the <strong>receiver</strong> skips back<br />
automatically to the previous menu. The following display appears:<br />
Now use the buttons to select “New registration”, and press the button.<br />
