The buttons allow you to<br />

select different sets of parameters for<br />

the search.<br />

<strong>Satellite</strong><br />

Use the buttons to select the satellite that is transmitting the channels to be searched.<br />

Make sure your reception system is aligned to the selected satellite.<br />

Transponder Frequency<br />

Use the buttons (transponder frequency already saved) or the number keys (transponder<br />

frequency not yet saved) to select the transponder frequency on which the channel being sought<br />

is broadcast.<br />

DVB Type<br />

Use the buttons to select whether the search should be for standard channels (DVB-S (SD))<br />

or for <strong>HDTV</strong> channels (DVB-S2 (<strong>HDTV</strong>)).<br />

Modulation<br />

Use the buttons to select the appropriate type of modulation. There is no need to input the<br />

type of modulation when searching for standard channels. Instead a fi xed display of “Automatic”<br />

appears. When searching for <strong>HDTV</strong> channels you must enter the correct type of modulation<br />

(either QPSK or 8PSK).<br />

Polarisation<br />

Press the buttons to select the correct polarisation (horizontal or vertical).<br />

Symbol Rate<br />

Use the number keys to enter the related symbol rate.<br />

Service ID<br />

Mainmenu - Search Channel<br />

Use the buttons or the number keys to enter the service ID of the channel to be searched for.<br />
