NEUSIEDLER’s environmental policy
Growing awareness of the finite nature of our raw materials and energy resources
and the increasing number of environmental issues mean that consumers
today desire ecologically sound production, eco-friendly management, and
an eco-friendly product.
NEUSIEDLER sees its responsibility towards the environment not as an empty
slogan but as an obligation. The management is determined to guide the company
in line with an exemplary environmental policy oriented towards sustainable
development. This means continually improving the environmental
standards of our company.
The following principles are the backbone
of NEUSIEDLER’s environmental policy:
h We oblige all NEUSIEDLER employees to follow all legal regulations and any
other requirements to which we are pledged.
h We support training measures for all our employees, aiming at the careful
use of resources and energy.
h We implement all necessary and economically acceptable measures to avoid
or remedy environmental damage. Should environmental impacts be unavoidable,
we seek to reduce them to a minimum, including possible breakdownrelated
emissions.
h We set targets aiming at a continuous improvement of our environmental
performance and take corrective action if these targets are not met.
h We review and assess the environmental impact of each new activity, each
new product development, and each new procedure before their introduction.
h We keep the general public and customers informed about our environmental
activities and engage in a dialogue with all stakeholders.
