Pr<strong>of</strong>ile: WWF-Japan promotes local<br />

conservation activities and has granted a<br />

total <strong>of</strong> 160 million yen to 252 research<br />

and conservation programmes; supports<br />

research <strong>in</strong>to the coral reef ecosystems <strong>in</strong><br />

the Nansei Shoto, and protects <strong>in</strong>dividual<br />

species. WWF-Japan also supports<br />

TRAFFIC-J and contributes to conservation<br />
